Ship purification plants

The siClaro® BMA® process - the future-oriented technology to treat wastewater produced on board.

The use of the siClaro® filter in separate filter chambers allows the retrofitting of existing wastewater cells with a biological sewage treatment stage.

The modular filter chambers normally allow the system to be retrofitted without having to open the ship’s hull.

The siClaro® filter can, of course, be fitted directly in a wastewater cell too. The minimum cell height is then approx. 1.50 m. The membrane system has been homologated by the “See-Berufsgenossenschaft”. (German Maritime Employer's Liability Insurance Association)

Homologation certificate IMO – Resolution MEPC.2 (VI); Approval of ship chandlery pursuant to Directive 96/98/ EC of the Commission on Ship Chandlery.

On terms of purification efficiency, siClaro® BMA® wastewater systems safely comply with the stricter effluent figures of the “Alaska Legislation on treated sewage and grey water discharge” from December 2000.
