The siClaro® technology, a combination of proven activated sludge technology and innovative membrane process, has a number of advantages over conventional activated sludge processes. The siClaro® membrane filters are positioned directly in aeration tanks or downstream filtration chambers where they ensure a safe retention of activated sludge, bacteria and viruses.

This means that a conventional secondary settling tank is no longer needed to achieve the highest quality of effluent.
